I wonder what Simon's doing now? I wonder if he is sleeping, is he dreaming anything? I wonder if he had a good day? I wonder if he's been sick lately? I wonder who his friends are, if any, and what kinds of toys he likes to play with? I wonder if he's any of the caregivers' favorite kid in the room? I wonder if he ever gets bored, or if he's just used to doing nothing? I wonder if he ever gets to use any of the therapy equipment that has been donated to his orphanage? I wonder if he'll be scared of us? I wonder what he'll think of his new dad's goatee?? I wonder if he'll smile when he recognizes us on subsequent visits? I wonder if he'll miss us when we come home to wait out the 10 days?
I wonder if he smiled today...?

He was and is meant to be with us. All of his little dreams are ours too. I just wonder what he is going to do when he has to eat boxed-meals... hehe.. kidding... FOR REAL - kidding... :)
Ahem. I choose to IGNORE that "boxed-meal" comment.
Missy, We have a lot in common. I would love to be able to adopt a DS child. I get on Reeces Rainbow and drool over all those precious faces. Simon is adorable and I remember seeing his picture even before I knew who his mommy was :) I used to teach special education and DS children were the joy of my heart. Didn't even know these kids were available for adoption until I heard about RR because Lena was on there. I just know hubby would not go for 9 although I think my older children would be so great with a younger one. I know you asked about some of the older kids we met I would be happy to send pictures and tell you what I know if you e-mail me.
Your 4th pictures were great my boys would be so envious we have a burn ban on here in Texas because of drought conditions. Rhonda
I look SO forward to my new grandson! I just wish we weren't so far away! But, I know you and Mark will make fantastic parents and Simon is the luckiest little guy in the world!! ;o)
If he hasn't smiled lately, he will be smiling soon! Alot judging by the pics of his happy big sister! :)
I am so excited to hear more about him when you finally are there holding him for the first time!
How much longer, Missy?...any idea? hope it's soon. He is so cute!!
