I am the proud mom to 6 kids: Natasha, 24, Nikolai, 20, Reese, 20, Maylee, 14, Erik, 10 and Violet, 7. The kids come from Russia, Ukraine and China; I'm so proud of my family sometimes I think I'll burst and I needed an outlet for it - so I've created this weblog. :o)

My Blog List

Tuesday, March 16, 2010
I have had a heck of a time trying to get a hold of Karis Watson who runs that blog that alerts us to always enter the ID and password so that we can enter her blog when someone accesses MY blog! I don't know how to get that off of there! If someone who reads my blog knows how to get a hold of her and see if she knows how to get rid of the popup on MY blog, I would be so grateful!!

If I can't figure this out, I may have to start a new blog, and I'd hate to do that. That popup drives me NUTS, and I'm sure it does all my readers. I'm so sorry, everybody...

Did that make sense??

That's odd - that pop-up. I messed with it twice and now it went away, but I don't think the last time I told it anything. Beats me. I hope it is not a virus!

I popped in because you mentioned on Deb Walker's blog that you are not as "self-disciplined" (I think). Deb is wonderful, and I feel the same way. Comparatively pretty random.

Hi Missy...say I know she is good friends with Boston. Have you asked her to get a hold of Karis? Just an idea...

Hey Missy, email me. I have her email addy. There's a link on my blogger page.

Hey, it's not Karis' fault :) That message is given when a site is trying to draw images or information from a private or unavailable site. So there's something in your page's code that's trying to access Karis' blog...

You might try removing her from the blogs on your sidebar (I see it says she updated 3 months ago which is possibly when she went private?) and if that doesn't get rid of it then check your buttons and such to see what else is trying to 'draw up' her blog when people login to yours.

I don't think getting a hold of her will help tho :)

If you want I can try to help you fix it after the mtng tomorrow! :) -Meredith

But your blog still takes longer to load than others...Why is that?

Missy said...

I don't know, Jodi... (I didn't know that it did...) Maybe because there's so much stuff on it??

New here, good reading, your blog is really full of lots of graphics...do you "shrink" you photos before uploading? That would help with the time it takes to load your site! Your banner did not load for me for a long time...lots of pictures behind it! :) I like all the links to other blogs, and I am getting lots of great information...thanks for the glimpse into your life! :) Kym
