About Me

Sunny Florida, United States
I am the proud mom to 6 kids: Natasha, 24, Nikolai, 20, Reese, 20, Maylee, 14, Erik, 10 and Violet, 7. The kids come from Russia, Ukraine and China; I'm so proud of my family sometimes I think I'll burst and I needed an outlet for it - so I've created this weblog. :o)

It never gets old. Today Reese, Erik and I watched the Space Shuttle Atlantis go up. It was such a beautiful day and the launch was right on time. We went to a marina next to where Reese used to play softball (they are bulldozing it to build condos) and watched it from the end of a pier. SO cool.
I'm not sure how clear these will come through on my blog, but on my computer in my picture file, it's so clear you can see the orbiter and the big, red external fuel tank. Maybe if you click on the picture and it gets big, you can see it.

Erik and I enjoyed some quiet time sitting on one of the piers. He had such fun looking at the water below - I wished I had something to let him throw in, like bread crumbs or rocks!! Next time.

He's so squeezable I can hardly stand it sometimes!! :o)

No, he wasn't being wow'ed by the launch in this picture. He showed NO interest in it whatsoever!!! He was just sitting in his stroller, enjoying the day, being his happy little self.

Don't miss the blog post below this one - two posts in one day!!

If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap.
If you want happiness for a day, go fishing.
If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune.
If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.
