I am the proud mom to 6 kids: Natasha, 24, Nikolai, 20, Reese, 20, Maylee, 14, Erik, 10 and Violet, 7. The kids come from Russia, Ukraine and China; I'm so proud of my family sometimes I think I'll burst and I needed an outlet for it - so I've created this weblog. :o)

Today we had a WONDERFUL time at the pumpkin farm to pick out Erik's very first pumpkin! He was so excited he could hardly stand it - he couldn't WAIT to race to the pumpkins and try them out, and find the VERY BEST ONE! :o)

The look of excitement and joy on his face was so priceless, I had to capture it on film!!

He also made special friends with a scarecrow! I thought those two were going to talk for HOURS!! They were best friends right away. I'm so glad my little boy had such a fun time!! :o)

I hope you enjoy experiencing the wonder and excitement of his first "pumpkin hunt"!! We did!!

Sorry, I couldn't resist!! Reese and I were laughing so hard, trying to get Erik to smile or do ANYTHING other than scream the whole time!! He HATED the entire experience!! We think he's not feeling that well. Bless his heart! Poor kid...!!
